Twice is better!
After a successful test phase, the RTL lunchtime journal “Point 12” will rely on permanent moderation duos from May. Alternating with main presenter Katja Burkard (61) and Bernd Fuchs (53), Angela Finger-Erben (46) and Daniel Fischer (49) will lead through Germany's most successful lunchtime magazine. Sabrina Ilski (38) continues to be part of the extended moderation team. Angela Finger-Erben celebrates her “Point 12” premiere on May 18th.

Katja Burkard has been the main presenter of Germany's most successful lunchtime magazine “Point 12” since 1997. After studying German and political science, she completed a traineeship at Bastei-Verlag and then worked as an editor and reporter for various RTL news formats. From 1995 she presented the weekend editions of RTL Aktuell. On June 25, 1996, Katja Burkard took over the moderation of “Point 12” for the first time. She has been the main presenter since April 1997. She was also seen in various entertainment and talk formats on RTL. In 2019 she published her first Book “Menopause? Don't Panic!”. The Spiegel bestseller “60 is the new 60!” followed in 2025.
Bernd Fuchs has been working for RTL since 1997 and has been presenting “Point 12” in dual moderation since 2025. After studying business administration and education, he began his TV career at WDR before joining the press and communications department at VOX. Bernd Fuchs moved in front of the camera for the show “Heartbeat”. Since 1997 he has appeared as a weather expert on RTL Aktuell and in the morning magazine “Guten Morgen Deutschland”. After moderating “Point 12” on a stand-in basis since 2021, he has been part of the permanent moderation team since 2025. He also regularly presents the “Climate Update”.
Angela Finger-Erben has been in front of the camera for RTL since 2006. After training as an advertising clerk and studying media science, she gained her first experience in the RTL editorial team at “Exclusiv – Das Starmagazin” and then completed a traineeship at “RTL West”. Angela Finger-Erben then moved to “Point 12”, where she worked as a VIP reporter, including at the jungle camp in Australia. Since 2018 she has moderated “I'm a Star – Get Me Out of Here! The Hour After”. She also presented various reality formats on RTL and RTL+, including “Temptation Island” and “Prince Charming”. Since 2009 she has been part of the presenter team for “Guten Morgen Deutschland” and “ Punkt 6/7/8” on RTL.

Daniel Fischerhas been working for RTL since 2022 and has been presenting “Point 12” in dual moderation since 2025. He started his journalistic career in 1998 as a trainee at Radio Primavera and Radio Tele FFH and as a presenter at Planet Radio. Daniel Fischer has been at Hit Radio FFH since 2001 and currently moderates the mornings there from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Frankfurt native gained extensive experience in front of the camera between 2005 and 2010 as presenter of the TV show “1, 2 or 3” (ZDF, ORF & SF). Daniel Fischer has also been working as a DFB stadium announcer since 2016. Since 2022 he has moderated “Point 6/7/8” on RTL and from May 2026 he will also be working for the new RTL/ntv news magazine “Deutschland am Morgen”.
