“I’m really speechless!”DSDS recall starts with a double shock! First for the candidates, then for the jury
Bushido has to speak out.
The next milestone in DSDS is coming up: the recalls! But they start with a big setback for the candidates. At the start, the jury makes it clear how serious it really is. And as soon as the first superstar candidates have performed, the shock changes sides, as you can see in the video above. Before we continue, Bushido has to take action!
Half of the DSDS candidates have to go!
As soon as they arrived at the colorful recall location in Europa-Park in Rust, there was no time for the top 30 of DSDS 2026 to take a breather. The DSDS jury immediately throws out a hammer. Dieter Bohlen announces what is happening now: “This time, 15 of you will be going home again this afternoon.” Bushido makes it even clearer: “That’s the original half of you.” The candidates are deeply shocked. Nobody here expected that – and the nervousness skyrockets.

Now the first big test awaits: In the 4D cinema, the acts have to compete in front of the entire group and perform distinctive refrains of well-known songs – judged mercilessly by the jury! The pressure is enormous because of course no one wants to say goodbye. In addition, five candidates each sing the same song and are therefore directly compared with each other.

After the first performances, it's the DSDS jury that needs to take a breather. Dieter Bohlen is still expressing himself cautiously. “I just thought: Wow, man. What they're singing doesn't affect me,” he says in the interview. Bushido sees it that way. He therefore takes a stand in front of the entire recall group – and it has a lot to offer: “If I compare this with the first round, then I don't know what happened. Either you all can't handle the pressure, or we really made a mistake by leaving you here. So, I'm really speechless, but unfortunately, really, really unfortunately in the negative. It's crazy.”
