
A German died while hiking on the island of Mallorca. He fell into a ravine. It is said to be a 67-year-old from Poppenhausen.
Poppenhausen/Valledemossa – As Mallorca Magazine reports, citing the Guardia Civil and the Mallorca fire department, the man fell into a ravine near Valledemossa on Thursday morning around 11 a.m. He fell from a height of around 15 to 30 meters.

The German was traveling with two family members near the Camí de s'Arxiduc hiking trail. It is still unclear how the fatal fall occurred. The area is difficult to access, so a helicopter had to be mobilized to reach the exact scene of the accident. However, the rescue workers were no longer able to help the man.
The Civil Guard has started an investigation to clarify the cause of the fall. However, everything points to a tragic accident.
