
The city of Lauterbach starts the 2026 event season on Sunday with a spring market and Sunday shopping.
Lauterbach – The colorful hustle and bustle in the city center invites you to linger and discover this Sunday, March 29th. The grocer's market in Lauterbach once again offers a wide range of products of handicrafts, regional products, everyday products and culinary delicacies. In addition, the shops in Lauterbach city center are open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Lauterbach city marketing is again distributing flower seeds in retail stores, which visitors can take home with them when they shop in the stores, city marketing says. Young guests can look forward to a balloon artist in the city center who will delight visitors with balloon artwork.
Spring market in Lauterbach attracts visitors on Sundays when shopping is open
The clothing swap party was already a huge crowd puller last fall. Now the swap party is entering the second round. It takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the former Jöckel laundry (Vogelsbergstrasse 16). The clothing swap party is organized by AZN Naturerlebnishaus Heideberg e. V. in cooperation with the city of Lauterbach. The 2026 graduating class of the Alexander-von-Humboldt High School also offers coffee, cake, pretzels and soft drinks. The book flea market run by the Lauterbach City Library Support Association in the parking lot of the old donkey also invites you to browse. The Abitur classes at the Vogelsberg School take care of their physical well-being with coffee and cake in the reading café at the city library.
The Stadtmühle Tourist Center is open: Employees are available from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to answer tourist questions or purchase souvenirs and Lauterbach city credit.
