Painful days after “Everything that counts” filming
Stunt becomes reality! Actor Marc Dumitru actually injured himself in this scene
That wasn't in the script!
Brutal action scenes are the exception in “Everything that counts”, but for actor Marc Dumitru that’s exactly what happened at the end of 2025. Because his role Kilian is fighting against an attacker who had previously attacked Gabriella. A scene that even had a professional stunt coordinator on set. Because every movement has to be right here. Nevertheless, the shoot ended with an injury for Marc, as he explains in the backstage interview.
“Painful over the Christmas holidays”
The scene in which Kilian fights against the attacker in the dark was rehearsed several times before filming. “We took a lot of time and choreographed it,” he said Marc Dumitru about working with the stunt coordinator. No punches or kicks are allowed to happen spontaneously so that no one gets injured.
And as far as the fight choreo is concerned, everything went according to plan. “That worked really well until I slipped and then unfortunately I actually fell and couldn’t catch myself well, as I was supposed to do,” reports the actor in the interview above. Then there was a loud groan on set – “and that was real.”
The result became clear after the pain got worse and worse, and then I went to the doctor: bruised ribs! “Nothing wild, but painful over the Christmas holidays,” reflects Marc Dumitru. But luckily everything is fine again and he will certainly never forget this shoot!
