A humble pleasure!
Ania Niedieck speaks more honestly than ever: In episode five of “Blondie Spritz”, the new (video) podcast by the AWZ actress and RTL internet expert Phil Pauls (point 12), it is personal, unfiltered – and surprisingly reflected. But suddenly it's about an issue below the belt. Ania reveals what she associates with a toilet in a fast food restaurant.

“I was ashamed of my life!”

“Blondie Spritz” understands itself as weekly after-work podcast with attitude: two blondies, seven days – and a lot of opinions. Serve in your slightly different weekly review Niedieck and Paul's personal anecdotes, pointed observations and a good dose of gossip. Instead of sober analysis, there is an entertaining mix of true-to-life, self-irony and a clear edge – always with a drink in hand and a wink in the eye.

Ania Niedieck now has her own podcast together with Phil Pauls.

The fact that the two of them like to chat like this is also proven in the latest podcast episode. Ania demonstrates the courage to be maximally honest – for example when it comes to nervousness and physical reactions. “When I'm nervous, it always upsets my stomach – I always have to go to the toilet,” she says openly and adds: “I sat in Burger King for half an hour and was ashamed of my life.” Only later did she understand “that there is such a thing as irritable bowel syndrome” – and today she self-deprecatingly calls herself “part of the irritable bowel syndrome” community.

Spice Girls really messed up the AWZ star

Niedieck also reflects on her youth with a lot of humor. Her enthusiasm for the Spice Girls went so far that she questioned herself: at times she thought “that I was a lesbian” because she found all the band members “just cool”. An honest look into growing up with pop culture – and the search for your own identity.

But the episode also has serious tones. When it comes to deepfakes, the actress is very clear. “You sit at home, open your mailbox – and boom.” And further: “My head on some body, maybe with liquid on my face… and you just think: Dude, what's going on here now?” A frighteningly open look at digital border crossings, which are a terrible reality for many of those affected and the actress.

“Blondie Spritz” appears new every Thursday – as a video podcast wherever there are podcasts.
