
A dispute between two women in Hanau escalated: a 55-year-old is said to have injured her opponent with a weapon-like object.
Hanau – A dispute between two women escalated early Saturday morning (March 21) in downtown Hanau, the police said. A 55-year-old is said to have threatened and injured a 37-year-old woman with a weapon-like object. The criminal police are investigating and are asking for information.
Dispute in Hanau escalates: 55-year-old injures opponent
The two women clashed in front of a bar on Heumarkt (single-digit house numbers) around 6 a.m. According to police, those involved apparently know each other. During the argument, the older woman is said to have held a weapon-like object to the 37-year-old Hanau woman's head.
But it didn't stop there: The 55-year-old is said to have pulled her victim's hair, brought her to the ground and kicked her in the head. The younger woman suffered injuries as a result of the attack and required medical attention.
The criminal police in Hanau are now investigating the 55-year-old on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, threats and insults. Witnesses who observed the incident are asked to call (06181) 100123.
