Burglars fled the Rhön region with three packs of cigarettes as loot. The material damage left behind exceeds the value of the stolen goods many times over.
Tann – According to the police report, the unknown persons used force to gain access to a restaurant in the Hundsbach district of Tann on the night of Sunday to Monday (March 15th to 16th). They searched the rooms but apparently found no money or valuables.
Burglars in the Rhön steal three packs of cigarettes
Instead, they fled with only three packs of cigarettes as loot. However, they caused material damage to the building amounting to 1,500 euros. The glow sticks probably aren't even worth that much. The police are now asking for information from witnesses by calling (0661) 1050 or via Online watch.
The discrepancy between loot and property damage caused was even greater in the case of a break-in at a supermarket in Hosenfeld in the Fulda district. The criminals didn't steal anything at all, but they caused material damage in the five-figure range, i.e. over 10,000 euros.
