“Both residents suffered smoke intoxication,” reported a police spokesman. The emergency services took the injured to the hospital. The material damage amounts to at least 80,000 euros. The house is now uninhabitable.

Due to the consequences of the fire, the fire department was unable to provide any precise information as to how the fire could have started. All that was determined was that the fire started in the kitchen on the ground floor.
