12-year-old Alvin S. from Kirchwalsede in Lower Saxony has been missing since Monday afternoon (March 2nd). The police are not ruling out an emergency situation – and are now turning to the public.
Where is the missing Alvin? Police have several ideas!
When asked by RTL, the police made it clear: Alvin was still missing on Saturday (March 7th)! The investigation is ongoing and officers are currently following up on tips that have come through the public search. As of now, no further searches for the 12-year-old are planned. Police cannot say whether the boy is a typical runaway or whether his disappearance is unusual.

The police turned to the public on Friday evening because the intensive search efforts so far had not been successful and Alvin still could not be found. At this point there had been no sign of life from the boy for days!

Alvin left a child and youth welfare facility without consultation, the police said. According to current findings, the boy could have traveled from the facility to Bremen main train station with another young person, it was said. From there he may have traveled on alone – possibly towards Eschede or Eschershausen. His companion returned to the facility. Alvin also has connections to Hanover, Fischbeck and Alfeld. It cannot be ruled out that he is in these places.
