
A masked man broke into a vending machine in Bad Soden-Salmünster. He escaped with vapes worth 1,300 euros. The police in Kinzigtal are looking for witnesses.
Bad Soden-Salmünster – A masked man is said to have broken into a vending machine in Kinzigtal early on Saturday morning (February 28th) and stolen its contents. He is described as being around 1.80 meters tall and is said to have been wearing a beige jacket and dark trousers.
Masked thief steals vapes worth 1,300 euros
At around 2 a.m. the perpetrator entered the premises on Romsthaler Strasse in Bad Soden-Salmünster. “He is said to have smashed the glass window of the machine with an object,” explained police spokesman Maximilian Edelbluth.
According to the police headquarters in Southeast Hesse, the man stole vapes worth around 1,300 euros. The property damage caused is estimated by the police at around 8,000 euros.
The police initially reported that vapes worth 13,000 euros had been stolen, but later corrected themselves. The Hanau police are asking for any relevant information. Witnesses to the crime can contact officials on (06181) 100123.
Two days before Meanwhile, a police officer used his service weapon during a check in Steinau im Kinzigtal. According to authorities, a driver drove towards an officer. Residents reported a total of three shots.
