Exactly 100 exhibition companies have registered for the “hausplus Fulda 2026” construction trade fair. Above all, craft businesses and service providers from the region will gather at the Fulda-Galerie exhibition center from Friday, March 20th to Sunday, March 22nd. The trade fair is open on all three days from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Whether windows or prefabricated houses, whether financing or new heating – the trade fair offers a lot of information options – on most topics from several providers.
All about building and renovation – the “hausplus Fulda” construction trade fair is growing
A major focus is the area of “renewable energies”, which around a fifth of the exhibitors deal with. In addition to heat pumps and photovoltaics, systems are presented that combine energy generation with storage and e-charging stations. Visitors can also find out more about new buildings. For example, prefabricated houses, wooden houses, solid houses and self-built houses are presented. Anyone interested in building materials will find information about wood and clay construction or insulation materials.
Cooling and air conditioning are becoming increasingly important. Exhibitors will also be showing skylights and balcony railings, fireplaces and stairs, kitchen and room design, infrared cabins and sleeping systems, insect protection and air purification, carports, garden sheds and roofing. The city of Fulda, the district of Fulda, the district craftsmen's association and the AOK are also on site.
“At the exhibition stands, people take the time to get competent advice. And in the exhibition hall, the distances are short,” says Brigitte Schlottig, RVG project manager. “We bring together an incredible number of topics and experts. If you wanted to collect the same information in everyday life, you would be on the road for a very long time and would have to criss-cross the region.” On the trade fair weekend, a few hours were enough to move a construction project forward – regardless of whether it was a renovation or a new building, emphasizes trade fair boss Stephan Drescher from RVG.
Comprehensive advice in one place – 34 specialist lectures from regional experts
A second source of information is the lecture forum. The events are free for all trade fair guests. 34 different appointments will be offered every 30 minutes on the three days of the trade fair. The experts brought in will talk about photovoltaics, heat pumps, burglary protection, real estate financing, renovation schedules and funding.
“Whether it's advice at the trade fair stand or a lecture: 'hausplus Fulda' is, if nothing else, an opportunity to get to know each other,” says the trade fair boss enthusiastically. “When you go to a stand or listen to a lecture, you often meet the owners, the foremen and experts of the companies. This is a great opportunity to get good information and also build trust.”

90 percent of the exhibitors come directly from the region, reports project manager Schlottig. 30 companies are new this time. She is particularly pleased that the city of Fulda and the district craftsmen's association have joined as new exhibitors with their own exhibition stands. “This shows that our trade fair is becoming a recognized institution for the entire region.”
After its premiere in the Esperanto Culture and Congress Center, “hausplus” moved to the Fulda-Galerie exhibition center.
