Dream wedding over Fulda at Hessentag: Estelle and Ivelin exchange vows in the Ferris wheel. A special place for a special day.
Fulda – A yes word with a view: Estelle and Ivelin Kohlstruck-Ranov were the first couple to meet on Saturday (June 13th). Hesse day said yes in Fulda. The two 30-year-olds got married in a gondola on the 45-meter-high Ferris wheel on the festival grounds and wrote Hessentag history.

The two have been a couple for five years. For their wedding they consciously chose the extraordinary wedding location high above the roofs of the city. While the Ferris wheel slowly rotated over the festival grounds, the couple exchanged vows at a lofty height and enjoyed the view over the baroque city and the Hessentag.
For Estelle, the wedding was also a return to her roots: The 30-year-old originally comes from Fulda. Today the couple lives in Lower Hanau Kinzigtal. The fact that her wedding took place at the Hessentag in her hometown made the day even more special for her.
During the state festival, the city of Fulda offers the opportunity to have a civil wedding directly in the 45 meter high Ferris wheel. So far, Estelle and Ivelin Kohlstruck-Ranov are the only couple who have taken advantage of this extraordinary offer.
