Harry Styles leaves a handwritten note of thanks

After his concert series in Amsterdam Harry Styles thanked the city with a huge newspaper ad and thus triggered a hype on the Internet. A handwritten message from Styles thanking people for their hospitality was printed in Saturday's edition of the daily newspaper Het Parool. Now there is a run on the newspaper.

The newspaper is sold out almost everywhere in the country. The Saturday edition is available for purchase on advertising portals. Demand is also huge on social media. According to Dutch media reports, up to 200 euros per newspaper copy are now being offered.

“Thank you, I love you!”

But what exactly does the star dedication actually say? “Thank you, I love you!” Styles addressed the city of Amsterdam in Dutch. Styles also writes in English: “Amsterdam, you never forget the first time. Thank you for having us!” The singer will now continue his tour in London.

Incidentally, the editor-in-chief of Het Parool is amazed at the success and, according to a report by the ANP news agency, is now even considering a second printing of this special edition.
