
Unknown perpetrators started a fire with a stack of waste paper in a ruined building in the municipality of Mücke. An attentive witness alerted the fire department.
Mücke – An attentive witness apparently prevented something worse from happening in Mücke when a stack of waste paper burned on Grubenbacher Strasse. The incident occurred on Wednesday, June 3, around 7:30 p.m., police said. Unknown people had set fire to a stack of waste paper on Grubenbacher Strasse.
Arson in ruined building – alert witness alerts fire department
The resulting smoke caused a witness to become aware of the fire and immediately alerted the emergency services. According to the police, the fire department was able to prevent the flames from spreading to an adjacent building in time. Luckily there was no damage to property.
