
A burglar fled in Lauterbach with a black Honda scooter and possibly other loot.
Lauterbach – According to the police, at least one previously unknown man gained access to the apartment on Schubertstrasse and searched the rooms for valuables. The break-in occurred on Monday (June 1) at around 5:45 p.m.
Burglary in apartment: Perpetrator flees on stolen scooter
According to the Lauterbach police station, the perpetrator jumped out through an open window on the first floor after the crime. According to current findings, he then got on a scooter that was driven by a second, also unknown person. The two-wheeler, a black Honda scooter, model AF29, had previously been stolen directly from the crime scene. At the time of the theft, the vehicle had the insurance license plate “458-AHN” on it.
According to the police, it is currently unclear whether the perpetrators stole other stolen goods in addition to the scooter. The Lauterbach police station is asking witnesses who have observed anything suspicious or who can provide information about the perpetrators or the stolen scooter to call (06641) 9710. Tips are also received from any other police station or can be submitted via the online watchdog at www.polizei.hessen.de.
