Hardly any sleep after “Let’s Dance” victoryAppointment mega marathon for Anna-Carina Woitschack!
Luckily she's pretty much used to the fast pace…
The trophy has only just been presented and Anna-Carina Woitschack is already in full throttle mode. Since her “Let's Dance” victory on Friday evening, the pop singer has been chasing one appointment after the next. Woitschack explains her appointment marathon between stage and hit in an exclusive interview with RTL.
After intensive “Let’s Dance” months: appointment marathon for Anna-Carina Woitschack
After the grand finale, Anna-Carina celebrated at the legendary after-show party. However, there wasn't much time to sleep in. Just a few hours later, the newly crowned winner was on her way to Berlin. Her performance at “SchlagerOlymp” was on the program there on Saturday. Then we went back to Cologne – and the appointment marathon was far from over…
Her Monday alone reads like the schedule of a top politician: Anna-Carina is picked up from the hotel at 6:45 a.m., and a little later she goes straight into the mask. This is followed quickly by TV appearances, social media appointments and interviews for RTL, ntv and RTL.de. After a short break in the hotel, the next live talk awaits at point 12 in the afternoon.

After the show we went to the after-show party and then straight on to Berlin! At the party, Anna-Carina and Evgeny toast.

So it's no wonder that the 33-year-old hasn't really come to terms with her triumph yet. In the RTL interview she says openly: “It really hasn't really sunk in for me yet. There's so much wonderful stuff going on right now. But I haven't had a chance to take a deep breath yet to really let it sink in.”

Despite the hardships, she didn't think for a second about canceling her appearance in Berlin. “I am a passionate singer and I love my audience,” she explains. After all, her fans wouldn't have been able to see her live during the three months of “Let's Dance”. So she just spent the night and drove straight to the stage: “I just didn’t sleep, I sat through it and drove there.”

Anna-Carina isn't thinking about rest yet anyway. On Tuesday she will be back in the recording studio in Berlin to finish her new song. There are also numerous TV appearances and other projects that she is currently not allowed to talk about. “I'm not human, I don't like standing still,” she says. She definitely doesn't want to fall into the famous “Let's Dance” hole.

Maybe there will soon be some time to breathe deeply. “Maybe a little vacation in two weeks or so,” she reveals. Until then, the most important thing for the newly crowned “Let's Dance” winner is: keep driving, keep working, keep partying.
