Hyrox events are held indoors – but the heat may still have played a role

Hyrox events generally take place indoors, and several athletes say that the conditions in the hall were not extreme, even though there were enormous temperatures outside. One participant tells Hybrid Fitness Media: “The whole hall was very well air-conditioned.” Another athlete explains: “It was extremely hot outside in Lyon, but it was pleasant indoors.”
