
Four slightly injured people are the result of an accident on the A7 near Bad Hersfeld on Whit Monday. A 25-year-old drove into the right lane without braking.
Bad Hersfeld – The 25-year-old from the Fulda district was driving his Peugeot on the A7 towards Fulda around 6:15 p.m. on Monday evening (May 25th). According to the police report, shortly after the Bad Hersfeld West exit, he steered his car from the middle lane to the right lane.

However, for unknown reasons, he did not reduce his driving speed, even though a BMW carrying a family from Munich was driving directly in front of him. The young man from Fulda drove into the BMW accordingly. The impact caused both vehicles to skid, colliding with the concrete guardrail and ultimately coming to a stop in the left lane.
The Peugeot driver and the three occupants of the BMW were slightly injured and taken to nearby hospitals as a precaution. During the rescue efforts, the motorway in the direction of Fulda was briefly closed. According to initial estimates, there was material damage of around 30,000 euros.
