Bill Kaulitz sees his ex again for the first time

There is a topic about which Bill Kaulitz definitely with his brother Tom wants to speak. “Something really bad happened to me,” the musician teases in the new podcast episode of “Kaulitz Hills – Mustard from Hollywood”: “I met my ex.” An encounter that Bill could have easily done without. Because the two of them didn't really part on a good note at the time: “That was my first big, great love here in America. Things were really bad for me back then.” Tom feels like Bill hasn't gotten over him yet. “I did too,” confirms his brother, laughing.

Bill was with the man for two and a half years, but he is said to have led a double life during this time. “He was dating a friend of mine at the same time. He has now married this friend and, hold on, Tom, he has four children with her.”he explains to the listeners. They hadn't seen each other for eleven years until they met by chance at an opening in Los Angeles. A moment that Bill has been really afraid of for the past eleven years: “I don't know if you know this. There's this one guy who broke your heart, who you loved so much, and you always ask yourself: What does he look like? What is he doing today? Has he changed?”

At first Bill tried to ignore his ex. But when the singer wanted to go out the door to smoke and he of all people blocked the exit, there was no turning back: Bill greeted him and hugged him. “Tell me, are you crazy?” Tom blurts out in horror: “That you're hugging him! You don't have all the sticks on the fence anymore.” Actually not a good idea, as it turned out shortly afterwards. “Now I regret it. He must have held me for what felt like ten minutes.” Then he even went out with him: “From that point on… He made the same jokes, talked the same way (…) We hung out there together for probably two hours.”

Tom Kaulitz: “I’m about to puke down my throat”

Bill was accompanied that day by his assistant Daniel. “Daniel let himself be completely lulled by him. You know how he is. He's a master of manipulation. Daniel then said: 'Oh my God, you're still in love with each other. That's the great love!'” His ex then asserted that Bill was “the one” for him. Just too much for Tom: “That's terrible. I'm going to puke down my throat.”

During the meeting, a well-known “negative feeling” spread through Bill: “He treated me badly and always oppressed me and belittled me. That's exactly how it was again. I had the feeling that I was small and bad and that nothing was good. It was like a flashback.” But he at least takes something positive away from this reunion: “This thought of what it would be like to meet him is gone for good.
