On the night of Thursday (May 21st) the second trip follows from an intermediate parking lot. The transport team is around 80 meters long. According to Tennet, significant traffic restrictions are to be expected on the access route to the substation on Thursday (May 21st) as the foundation of the transformer is being laid.
The police can temporarily close individual sections of the route. Road users are asked to avoid the area as far as possible. The new transformer is intended to connect the voltage levels of 380 kV and 110 kV and significantly increase the performance of the Dipperz substation.
Not every heavy transport goes smoothly: only recently The police in Osthssen stopped a truck whose 26-ton earthmoving machine was inadequately secured. The transporter had a spiked roller loaded onto its low-loader. The heavy transport driver can expect a fine in the high double-digit euro range and a point entry in Flensburg
