
Another serious motorcycle accident on the L 3314: two bikers fell in almost the same place. A seriously injured person was taken to the clinic by helicopter.
Brachttal – State road 3314 is increasingly proving to be an accident hotspot for two-wheeler drivers. Just a few days after a serious collision last Sunday (May 10th), in which a motorcyclist was also seriously injuredthere was another serious motorcycle accident on Friday afternoon (May 15th) – in an almost identical location, as the police announced.
Two motorcyclists have another accident on L 3314
The two men from North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony were traveling from Wittgenborn towards Spielberg around 4:15 p.m. When the road was wet, they lost control of their machines in a curve, left the road and fell.
The accident had different outcomes for the two drivers: While a 59-year-old biker was taken to a clinic by ambulance with apparently minor injuries, a 56-year-old with serious injuries had to be transported away by a rescue helicopter.
There was material damage to both motorcycles and they had to be towed away. According to police, the exact amount of damage has not yet been determined. Due to the rescue and recovery work, the state road was temporarily completely closed.
The Gelnhausen police station has started an investigation and is asking witnesses to the accident to call (06051) 8270.
