After “Let’s Dance” ended, Gustav now reveals why his daughter was broken up

This “magic moment” touched the whole of Germany.
Together with his daughter Lotti, Gustav Schäfer provided one of the most emotional dances of the season on “Let's Dance”. After the end, the Tokio Hotel star now talks about his daughter's tears – and reveals in the video above why they were pure tears of joy for him.

In the “Magic Moments” show, Gustav Schäfer became more private than ever before. Together with his dance partner Anastasia Maruster, he told the story of his difficult journey to having children – and at the end even brought his daughter Lotti onto the dance floor. For many viewers, one of the most emotional moments of the entire season. And yet the “Let's Dance” adventure ended for the drummer shortly before the quarter-finals.

After the end, Gustav explained how his daughter experienced the evening: “Of course she's fine. I mean, of course she's flooded with emotions now. Of course she'll also be sad, but I think she's also happy that daddy is back home.” The musician also emphasizes again: His daughter's tears were tears of joy. She clearly enjoyed the time together on the floor.

Anastasia Maruster is particularly moved when she talks about Lotti. Even during rehearsals, she felt how much joy the little one had in dancing: “She learned so quickly and kept asking: 'Can we train again? Can we do it again?' That was so sweet.”

Gustav himself also raves about the rehearsals together and looks back happily on the trip despite being eliminated. New projects are now waiting at home – and maybe even more dance challenges: “Maybe every now and then I have the quirk that she sends me a few dance steps and then I have to send back finished videos.”
