The training pays off!
Singer Milano reveals what physical consequences “Let's Dance” has for him and what influence the dance show has on his professional plans.
Milano (27) did it. The musician is in the quarter-finals of “Let's Dance”. Next Friday he will fight alongside Ross Antony (51), Anna-Carina Woitschack (33), Joel Mattli (32) and Jan Kittmann (43) in the tenth show of this year's season for a place in the semi-finals.

“Aside from the fact that my knees don’t cooperate anymore, I’m extremely happy,” said the singer and rapper about his progress in an interview with spot on news after the ninth show. For his dance partner Marta Arndt (36) and him, it was a “very nice show full of emotions”, “we got 30 points for the second time ever. It continues for us, which means we can experience it again next week. I can see from Marta's look that she is extremely proud of me and of us. It really couldn't be nicer for us right now.” And what will the celebrity dancer do about the physical problems in the new training week?

“Pain is part of it”
“Just keep training and pretend you don’t have any pain,” said Milano bravely. “By now you're used to it and that's part of it. We've been at it for ten weeks now and it hurts, we sweat and sometimes we cry, but this is 'Let's Dance' and that somehow makes it even better.” The musician has also noticed physical changes after weeks of training: “I actually lost six kilos and now have a much better six-pack.”
No matter what happens to him on the RTL dance show in the coming weeks, he will “definitely” continue dancing after the show, the singer said. “I really never thought it would be, but I'll be on tour soon and I've even planned with my team that we'll dance on stage too. Marta already knows about it. That means, from now on, choreos will be danced at every concert of mine.” He is looking forward to his artistic future all the more, “because now dancing is added to singing. I think that's how you become a complete artist.”
Milano has no doubt that he can imagine further collaboration with Arndt for his plans and that the two will continue to stay in touch afterwards. “Marta and I have been training together for ten weeks now, but you really feel like we've known each other for over ten years. There's just this harmony between the two of us that really has nothing to do with work, but we enjoy training together. We could go on for another three months (laughs).”
