
An accident involving a Porsche occurred on the A66 near Hanau on Thursday. The police found the car in a field and there was no trace of the driver.
Hanau/Bruchköbel – The police reconstructed the possible accident with the help of witness reports, because the officers are still looking for the driver of the badly damaged Porsche GT3.
Police find demolished Porsche in field – driver disappeared
At the Hanau-Nord junction on the A66, the sports car with a Serbian license plate is said to have braked sharply around 8:40 p.m. on Thursday evening (April 30). The vehicle then began to skid and hit the guardrail twice.
The expensive car was then completely destroyed and parked in a field near Bruchköbel near Bundesstraße 45. According to the police report, numerous pieces of debris and leaked equipment testify to the force of the collision.
There was an estimated material damage to the Porsche and the guardrail amounting to around 120,000 euros. The driver of the GT3 left the scene of the accident without permission and the police are still looking for him or her. Witnesses who can provide information are asked to contact officials on (06181) 90100.
Meanwhile, has A scooter driver from Kinzigtal led a high-speed chase with the police – he raced along a cycle path at speeds of up to 80 km/h.
