German allegedly had two cobras around his neck
According to previous findings, the 57-year-old attended a demonstration with his family at the hotel in the Hurghada holiday region at the beginning of April, during which the conjurer placed two snakes – presumably cobras – around the guests' necks. He let one of the snakes crawl into the pants of the vacationer from Bavaria. This is said to have bitten.
According to the police spokesman, the investigation into the circumstances of his death is currently not specifically directed against the snake charmer, but is being conducted openly. According to him, the results of the toxicological examination are still pending. (nlu/dpa)
