The past few years have had Anna Maria Ferchichi and Bushido her center of life is in Dubai. At the end of last year, the family decided to return to Germany. They officially reported back at the beginning of January. “We’ve been deregistered for years now”explains the eight-timer in a new episode of “In bed with Anna-Maria and Anis Ferchichi – The Bushido Podcast”.
Since the Ferchichis had no permanent residence in Germany until then, they would not have received any mail. “Then I get a seizure on my account from the main customs office in Berlin. 18,800 euros,” says Anna-Maria in a conversation with her husband: “You have to imagine that. Thank God we have the money.” But there are also many people who don't have this large sum in their account: “Then a letter like this comes along and your heart sinks into your pants.”

Bushido adds that the bank called to inform the 44-year-old about the seizure. “That was so uncomfortable for me. I'm so hyper-correct,” explains Anna-Maria: “I haven't had a Schufa entry in my entire life… nothing. I always pay on time.” Even a reminder is extremely unpleasant for her.

At first Anna-Maria didn't know what was going on. “The main customs office enforced the child benefit fund,” Bushido explains in the podcast: “We had no notices, no documents.” The Ferchichis are said to have received child benefit for the past four years that they lived in Dubai: “Which we don’t have at all.”
Anna-Maria and Anis are now taking legal action against it. “That’s super cheeky”the couple is annoyed by the costly misunderstanding. Mistakes can happen, the Ferchichis also admit that.
