GZSZ episode 8509 from April 20, 2026 on RTL+GZSZ preview on RTL+: Kate is back
Surprise for Paul
Kate (Zoé Baillieu) is back from Australia and has changed dramatically. For Paul (Niklas Osterloh) it's a bit of a shock. For him, Kate is still the little girl, but those days are apparently long gone. The preview video shows how Paul reacts to his daughter's new appearance.
Matilda lies to the police
Matilda (Anna-Katharina Fecher) is summoned to the station by Toni (Olivia Marei). In the last few days, the evidence has increased that Matilda may also have something to do with the death of Zoe (Lara Dandelion Seibert). The fact that Matilda was with Erik (Patrick Heinrich) on the night of the murder could completely exonerate her and provide an alibi, but Matilda has scruples about telling Toni the truth. In order to protect Erik and his marriage to Toni, she even goes so far as to lie to the police.
Jonas wants to help Mats
For Jonas (Felix van Deventer) it is clear: Mats (Béla Kampschulte) has to get off the street. But it's not that easy. Without an ID card it is almost impossible to get an apartment in Berlin. But just trying to get Mats proper documents presents Jonas with almost insoluble problems.
