It all started in 2006 To mark Silvan-Pierre Leirich's farewell to the EWZ, we look back at his first episode
20 years is a long time!
Since September 2006, almost everything for actor Silvan-Pierre Leirich has revolved around “Everything that counts”. He has been in front of the camera here for almost 20 years. And what would the Steinkamp Center be without “Papa” Richard Steinkamp. But this time is now coming to an end. The actor wants to try something completely new and says goodbye to the daily series. Reason for us to take another look at its beginnings. What did Richard actually look like in his first episode? This can now be seen in the video.
It started at the Steinkamps' breakfast table
Experienced as a powerful boss of the Steinkamp empire Richard in the past 20 years Ups and downs – professionally and privately. Together with his wife Simone (Tatjana Clasing) he founded “Steinkamp Sport & Wellness” from nothing and formed an empire. But the road to the top was rocky: crises, setbacks and existential threats repeatedly presented him and his family with major challenges.

A big challenge in episode 1 on September 4, 2006 was breakfast with his daughter Jennifer Steinkamp. Although Richard simply wished her good morning, the potential for trouble was already high at an early hour. The reason: Daughter Jenny was not at all happy with her stylist that morning. And it shouldn't stay that way. A little later, the two of them continue their quarrel in the center. Jenny wasn't thrilled with her figure skating costume either. You can see exactly what happened in the video.
AWZ celebrates its 20th anniversary in September
Since Silvan's first episode not only ran in 2006, but the series also started in general, there will be a big anniversary to celebrate in 2026. UFA producer Guido Reinhard is looking forward to 20 years of series action: “'Everything that counts' will use this special anniversary to set the course for a strong future after the content revisions of the past few years. The next generation of Steinkamps and Reichenbachs is already in the starting blocks.”
Silvan can be seen as Richard for the last time on Thursday, April 30th on RTL+. On Thursday, May 7th, the episode will be shown on TV at the usual time at 7:05 p.m.
