Steinau – According to the police, the man was checked at Bellinger Tor in Steinau an der Straße on Tuesday (April 14) around 6:45 p.m. During the check, the officers initially discovered that the driver was apparently under the influence of intoxicants. There were also indications that the 39-year-old should not have been driving at all because he obviously did not have a valid driver's license.

During the further inspection, the officers took a closer look at the Audi A3. According to the police, a query of the mounted license plates in the search led to a hit: the license plates were reported stolen. Both the license plates and the vehicle were then seized.
