Rodenbach – The eleven-year-old cyclist was injured in a collision with a car in Rodenbach in the Main-Kinzig district on Tuesday evening (April 14th) and was taken to a hospital for further treatment.
Eleven-year-old injured in collision with car at intersection
The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Würzburger Strasse. According to the police's initial findings, the boy had entered the intersection on his way to school and had apparently disregarded or overlooked the right of way of a 58-year-old VW driver. The driver was probably unable to brake in time. As a result of the collision, the eleven-year-old was thrown onto the road.
According to police, the boy suffered minor injuries. Witnesses to the accident are asked to contact the Langenselbold police station on (06183) 911550.
An accident recently occurred in Fulda in which a child was seriously injured. A 75-year-old driver hit the boy with the side mirror of his vehicle.
