Suddenly it becomes quiet in the stadium: There is an emergency during the Bundesliga game between Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen.

Fan comes to the hospital

A medical emergency occurred during the Bundesliga game between Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen on matchday 29. “Due to resuscitation in the stadium, which is now being carried out in the ambulance to the hospital, there is currently no organized support from either fan camp here,” said BVB.

There was initially no further information. After the break when the score was 0-1 from Dortmund's perspective, the fan camps had stopped supporting and it became noticeably quieter in the Dortmund stadium. A little later, BVB informed about the incident.

Just recently there was a tragic emergency: Fan died

Just last weekend there was a tragic emergency in the game between Eintracht Frankfurt and 1. FC Köln (2:2). An 87-year-old spectator suffered a cardiac arrest during the game and the Eintracht supporter later died. “The 87-year-old man, who had been a Eintracht member and season ticket holder for many years, suffered a cardiac arrest during the game and was successfully resuscitated on site, but could no longer be stabilized as the game progressed,” the club announced during the week.
