Eichenzell-Kerzell – Two people were slightly injured in a head-on collision on State Road 3430 on Easter Sunday. According to police, the accident occurred on Sunday (April 5) at around 6:40 p.m. on the route between Hattenhof and Kerzell. According to the police, a 63-year-old BMW driver was traveling towards Kerzell when a 41-year-old Mitsubishi driver came towards her from the opposite direction at a narrow point.

According to the information, both vehicles entered the bottleneck where the BMW driver would have had the right of way at the same time and collided with each other. Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital. Their vehicles were no longer drivable and had to be towed away. Since the 41-year-old Mitsubishi driver was suspected of drinking alcohol, the officers ordered a blood sample, which was arranged on site and then carried out. Further investigations into the exact cause of the accident are ongoing.
