Act of violence near Nuremberg.
In the municipality of Pommelsbrunn in Bavaria, a woman discovers three bodies in a single-family home – man, woman, child.
Police speak of “homicide”
Police discovered three people who had died violently in a single-family home in the Franconian community of Pommelsbrunn near Nuremberg. There were two adults and a child, a police spokesman said on Sunday when asked. The police are therefore investigating the suspicion that a father killed his child and his wife and then himself. Bild first reported.
The bodies were found in Hohenstadt, a part of Pommelsbrunn, the spokesman said. A witness discovered her in a detached single-family home. The spokesman did not say what relationship the witness had to the dead. However, it cannot currently be assumed that another person is involved in the incident.
The Schwabach criminal police investigated on site and announced in the afternoon that the dead found in the house were a 51-year-old man, a 51-year-old woman and her ten-year-old daughter.
Hohenstadt is located around 30 kilometers east of Nuremberg near the popular excursion destination Happurger See. The area where the find was made was initially cordoned off. (dpa/afp/sfu/ajo)
