Pietro Lombardi was just spending a dream vacation in Mauritius with his ex-girlfriend and mother of his two sons, Laura Maria Rypa. Then there was stress and the influencer published a cryptic tearful statement and both unfollowed each other on Instagram. RTL.de asked the singer exclusively what was going on!

RTL visited Pietro Lombardi on the new recording of the live podcast “Die Patchworkboys”, which the singer records with his friend Oliver Pocher.

While on vacation with his ex-fiancée Laura Maria Rypa, Pietro Lombardi snapped and filmed photos of Laura for the Instagram world. And everything looked a bit like a love comeback. But after the trip everything on Instagram suddenly fell apart again.

“I'm currently walking my own path. A path back to myself… and also back to God. I've experienced a lot. I've made mistakes, fallen, learned,” writes Laura Maria Rypa in her Instagram story, also being self-critical: “I'm not perfect and I never will be… And I'm working on healing every day.”

The mother of two continues: “What hit me the most weren't the mistakes I made myself. It was the hurts of the people closest to me. Things I never expected. Words and actions that happened in moments when I should feel safe and supported.”

Were these words also addressed to Pietro? Because the ex-couple no longer follows each other on Instagram. At the premiere of the live podcast “Die Patchworkboys”, together with his flatmate Oliver Pocher, RTL.de asked how this came about? Pietro Lombardi exclusively to RTL.de: “It's a mix of emotions, and I don't know how that happens. That's life. I don't know whether it's cool. It's not like I walk around proudly and say: Hey, it's just what it is. Sometimes you don't always have your emotions under control.”
But the singer also emphasizes: “I think the most important thing in the first place isn't even the man and the woman, but rather the child. The child has to have the feeling: Okay, there's dad, there's mom and that there's no war between them.”
But why are the two of them causing such a stir with their Instagram war of the roses? “Unfollowing is not an art. It happens pretty quickly. It's emotions, you can't do anything about it. That's life, full of emotions,” explains Oliver Pocher's new podcast partner.
The DSDS star says: “You can't explain it at all. It's a situation where you usually think after the first ten minutes: How pointless was that? But then it happened. You can't change it.”
