Fulda – The mild spring weather will come to an end in the coming days, the temperatures in East Hesse will drop into the single digits and it will rain in some places. It will also be stormy at higher altitudes.
The German Weather Service warns of squalls in East Hesse
The German Weather Service in Offenbach has issued a warning of level 2 out of 4 squalls from Tuesday (March 24th) at 9 p.m. until Wednesday (March 25th) at 6 p.m. This applies in the districts of Fulda and Vogelsberg at altitudes of over 600 meters. A squall warning for the entire Hersfeld-Rotenburg district is currently in effect on Wednesday from 3 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the afternoon.
According to the weather service, gusts of level 2 out of 4 pose a risk of danger from flying objects or individual falling branches. Free-standing objects such as garden furniture should therefore be secured, and tents or covers should be secured. You should also exercise caution when spending time outdoors.
