Pupils from the old district of Hünfeld artistically dealt with the topic of “discovering the sea”. Now the winners have been determined.

Hünfeld – From drawings about life under water, collages on the topic of ocean pollution to a detailed drawing on a tablet: the range of works of art that students created in art class and submitted to the 56th International “jugend creativ” competition run by the cooperative banks was wide.

Accordingly, it was difficult for the jury to select among the school winners in order to determine who could now take part in the state competition as the local winner. The committee was made up of art educators from the participating schools. In total, more than 1,700 children and young people took part in the competition with pictures.

The focus was on questions such as: “What secrets do the oceans hide?”, “How can we protect the sea?” or “What is life like under the sea surface?”. “The imaginative works of the children and young people from the northern Rhön are impressive, and we are pleased to be able to present the award-winning works to the public in our branches in Hünfeld and Eiterfeld,” said Friederike Röhrig from the financial institution’s marketing department.

The local winners are Mia Seifert (Eiterfeld primary school, class 1a), Pauline Väth (Eiterfeld primary school, 1c), Alisa Bagdulina (Paul Gerhardt School, 1c), Linda Buchamer (Johann Adam Förster School, 4a), Varvara Reuka (Johann Adam Förster School, 4b), Rosalie Dücker (Paul Gerhardt School Hünfeld, 4c), Henry Landvogt (Lichtbergschule, F6c), Anton Krebs (Lichtbergschule, G5a), Mia Wiegand (Lichtbergschule, G6b), Helena Veber (Jahnschule, 8bH), Adia Niazi (Jahnschule, 8cR), Tamari Brang (Lichtbergschule, R9b), Luana Titze (Lichtbergschule, WPU_R10) and Emma Kohlmann (Lichtbergschule, WPU_R10).

But it's not just creative projects that create success stories in the region: The regional project of the Fulda district job center in Eiterfeld was also successfully completed. It enabled customers to find a new job close to home.
