HE is already a crowd favorite!
“You don't have to do anything and people are already screaming,” said Let's Dance juror Joachim Llambi (61) to Ross Antony after his dance at the second show on Friday evening (March 13th). True! The singer did everything he could to cut a good figure during the cha cha cha with Mariia. And his figure actually keeps him busy away from the dance floor!
Ross Antony reveals what’s important to him on “Let’s Dance”
He was having the “time of his life” on “Let’s Dance,” Ross Antony blurted out on Friday evening in Show 2. “I'm doing pretty well, I really have a fantastic professional dancer at my side. She always keeps my motivation at the top – I love dancing with her. I never thought I could dance a Charleston or Cha cha cha, but with her help I can do it fairly well on stage,” he says with a grin.

When he speaks these words, you can feel that he doesn't want to put too much pressure on himself. The fact that the singer, who was a member of the band Bro'Sis from 2001 to 2006, has music in his blood was already evident in the first shows. Nevertheless, he emphasizes: “I'm really excited because it's an area that's a bit unusual for me – mentally. I danced with Bro'Sis back then, but in a completely different way. Here I have to pay a lot more attention to my feet, legs and hands. It used to be like this: Here are the steps, do whatever you want.”

In plain language: For him, “Let's Dance” is all about attitude! And to get this right, especially on Friday evenings, it takes a lot of training and discipline! “We train four days a week and then on Friday we have to sit,” he explains. These are tough hours and have even made Ross lose the pounds.

Ross Antony doesn't always want to be at the top of “Let's Dance”.
Exciting: While he was at the top with 25 points in the first show, there were only 13 points in the second show. The fact that he didn't end up in first place in the second broadcast shouldn't have been a big problem for him. “I prefer it if I'm not always at the top – I'd rather be in the middle. It's just important to me that people have fun when they see us.”
And he has definitely succeeded so far!
The new season of “Let's Dance” has been running every Friday at 8:15 p.m. on RTL and in since February 27th Live stream on RTL+. Missed the episode? No problem! Past episodes of the popular dance show are available to watch at any time on RTL+.
