An unknown man destroys a garden in the Rhön and flees
In the early morning hours between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m., the unknown man lost control of his vehicle in a long left-hand bend and only came to a stop in a flower bed. It wasn't just the roses that were destroyed in the accident: the vehicle's oil pan apparently tore open – oil covered the garden instead of fertilizer. The police estimate the damage caused by the unplanned plowing work to be around 1,000 euros.
The vehicle involved in the accident is believed to be a Mercedes Sprinter. The driver left the scene of the accident without fulfilling his duties as the person who caused the accident. The Hilder police station is therefore asking witnesses who made strange observations on Thursday night to call (06681) 96120.
A dangerous incident also occurred in Hanau: A motorcyclist raced through the city at over 100 kilometers per hour.
