Fulda – After its premiere in 2024, “hausplus Fulda” has grown from year to year and has now established itself in the region. “The exhibition space has grown by 10 percent compared to the previous year,” says Stephan Drescher, managing director of Ravensburger Veranstaltungsgesellschaft mbH, explaining the popularity of the trade fair among exhibitors and visitors March 20th to March 22nd at the Fulda-Galerie exhibition center. 100 exhibitors provide information about prefabricated houses, heat pumps, financing and much more.
A successful construction trade fair also requires strong partners from the region, which the Ravensburger event company has found with the Fulda district craftsmen's association and the Parzeller media group, which is the trade fair's exclusive print media partner.
Commitment to local crafts
The partnership is not a coincidence, but rather arises from the theme of the event itself, explained the trade fair organizer. At construction fairs, the district craftsmen's association, as a representative of the guild businesses, is a trusted partner in building a network with local and regional craft businesses. At the same time, the issue of trust plays a central role. Building and renovating “have a lot to do with trust,” says Drescher. Anyone building a house or replacing their heating needs reliable craftsmen. According to the organizers, this trust can be communicated particularly well via the local daily newspaper.
For the district craftsmen's association, the cooperation is a signal in favor of regional crafts. “For us, the partnership is a sign of local craftsmanship, to show what services we offer here and what specialist companies we have in the region,” explains Lukas Henke, deputy managing director of the district crafts association. When it comes to service, “nothing is better than local craftsmanship.” There may be cheaper offers online, but the quality can be found locally, emphasizes Henke.
Of course, this is also a piece of location marketing for Fulda.
The Parzeller media group also emphasizes the regional added value of the collaboration. “We are very happy to support the trade fair because we enrich the region. This is of course also a piece of location marketing for Fulda,” explains Haldun Tuncay, managing director of the Parzeller publishing house. They are happy to have a committed partner at the location in the Ravensburger Veranstaltungsgesellschaft. “The trade fair will be a success for all sides,” says Tuncay confidently.
