How do you win at “Let’s Dance”? Former winners give tips
“It’s always good to get as much sleep as possible,” says Gabriel Kelly, who was named “Let’s Dance” winner in 2024. “Just staying cool, saying in your head: 'Hey, I'm here to learn. It's clear that I can't do this perfectly right from the start'.” Being open and listening to your dance partner is also important.

“And otherwise just have a good time, enjoy the whole thing. Because it's a once-in-a-lifetime trip and it's a big family that takes you in. Enjoy it while you're there. Just have fun.” Rúrik Gíslason – 2021 winner – agrees: “It's not about life or death. It's about enjoyment and charisma. Then you can do it.”

Who is the current favorite for “Let’s Dance” 2026?
And who will be the next “Let’s Dance” winner? The former winners are keeping a low profile. “I prefer to remain a bit diplomatic and wish everyone a very nice trip here,” says Rúrik Gíslason. He doesn't have a clear favorite (yet), but he hasn't seen enough dances yet.
Pascal Hens also finds it difficult to decide that the appearance of Betty Taube really liked it. “I'm very excited to see what's next. But no forecast,” he says.
Gabriel Kelly is a little more self-conscious, as he admits: He's hoping for his ex-professional dancer Malika Dzumaev and her protégé Joel Mattli. “But of course you wish it for everyone, there is so much potential this season that you just keep your fingers crossed for everyone. But for Malika a little more, so also for Joel.”
No matter who it is in the end – everyone deserves it!
