The concert had been sold out for months and the cathedral square in Fulda was packed on Saturday evening. 11,000 fans celebrated a huge party with Schlager legend Roland Kaiser in the Hessentagsarena. The singer entered the stage at exactly 8 p.m. and was greeted with frenzied cheers. The emperor – dressed as usual in a three-piece suit with beige trousers and a jacket as well as a blue jacket – opened his performance with the song “You can't get there against love”. And suddenly sent the crowd into ecstasy. He emphasized how happy he was to be back in Fulda: “It's the encounters that make life worth living. Let's end this day in the most beautiful way.”
