When Alexander Zverev bagged one of the highlights of his career, namely reaching the final of the French Open for the second time, Andre Agassi and his son Jaden were also in the audience. His resemblance to mother Steffi Graf is astonishing.

The French Open also attracted a US tennis legend to Paris. Andre Agassi is there and watched Alexander Zverev's semi-final match against Jakub Mensik live on Friday. The 56-year-old former tennis star made the whole thing a little family trip and brought his son Jaden Agassi, 24, with him. Jaden's mother, the German tennis icon Steffi Graf, who is 56 years old, has apparently not been spotted. Nevertheless, Jaden Agassi's smile in the stands was certainly reminiscent of the smile of his mother, the tennis legend.

However, Jaden Agassi decided some time ago that tennis was not for him. Instead, he plays baseball. Agassi was even appointed to the German national baseball team in 2025. Also last year, the son of the two tennis legends explained that it was no problem for his parents that he had dedicated himself to another sport. “Since I was a little kid, they just wanted me to be happy and do what I love. And that's baseball,” he explained in an interview with “Sportschau”.

According to him, there was a time when he “played a bit of tennis”. But he had an experience that made him realize that he should take a different path. “But it was somehow difficult for me to keep the ball within the lines. I just wanted to hit it as far as possible,” Agassi remembered. In addition, tennis is “a very lonely sport. It's not for me. In baseball we have up to 40 people there. It's about brotherhood and much more than just the sport itself.”
