This finale had it all!
Goosebumps, improv pressure and great feelings of victory at the end. Anastasia Maruster and Vadim Garbuzov win the “Let's Dance Professional Challenge” for the first time and can hardly believe their luck. We spoke to them right after their win, as you can see in the video.
“Let's Dance Professional Challenge” becomes a horror triumph
“Wow, that was just shock and excitement at the same time,” reveals us Anastasia Maruster. Together with Vadim Garbuzov She won the “Let's Dance Professional Challenge”. It is the first victory for both of them in this special professional competition. And the journey there was tough. Anastasia and Vadim made a strong statement in the first round. To the theme of horror, they dance a tango to “Bury a Friend” by Billie Eilish. Dark, intense, dangerously close to giving you goosebumps. This is exactly how they apparently immediately captivate the audience.
After the victory, Anastasia reveals why this motto suited her so well. “I've always loved horror films. I watched a lot of them when I was younger.” For Vadim, however, the biggest challenge lay in a completely different place. It wasn't the tango, not the final pressure, but his look that bothered him: “The hardest part of the whole thing for me was getting the contact lenses in. The first time in my life that I touched my eye.”

Vadim Garbuzov celebrates his first victory in ten years
This success means a lot to Vadim. He has been part of the “Let's Dance” family for years, but he has never been able to win the professional challenge. Now Anastasia is changing that with him. “It's an incredible feeling and it's a dream come true. I've been on 'Let's Dance' for ten years and I've never won! And with Anastasia I've now done it. That's why I would like to thank her.”

However, Vadim cannot rest for long after his triumph. He goes straight on to Vienna, where the tour choreos are waiting. But before that, you can celebrate briefly again. Anastasia says with a laugh: “We’ll celebrate first, and then we’ll sleep a lot.” Vadim even has a little plan for victory. “But now let’s treat ourselves to a beer.”
