“Beginning of a new era”Helene Fischer releases new party song “Tonight”
She celebrates the “beginning of a new era”: Helene Fischer releases her latest single on the stroke of midnight. The fans are already excited beforehand. “Tonight” is once again about the big feelings.
Pop star Helene Fischer released her new single “Tonight”. The energetic song was released on popular streaming platforms at midnight. The 41-year-old musician delivers a pop hit with a catchy melody and a powerful chorus. She stays true to her style: The song has the typical rock-along factor that you can also hear in her top hits like “Atemlos durch die Nacht”. The singer had already announced her new single on Instagram – in a glittery outfit in front of blue-purple lighting.
“I'm so excited to hear how you like it and I'm really looking forward to celebrating this special moment with you,” she wrote. She also posted a short audio snippet of her new song. In it, Fischer sings – as he so often does – about big emotions: “Believe in you and me when we turn up our feelings,” it says. Lines follow that sound like a reunion, a second chance and renewed passion: “I missed us when we stand in front of each other like this. I can see the old glow in your face.” The artist delivers what she has been reliably engaging her audience with for years.
That's why fans were excited in the comments on Instagram shortly before publication. “I'm really looking forward to the song. I'll listen to it loudly in the car on the way to work tomorrow morning,” writes one user. Elsewhere there is talk of, among other things, a “banger” and a new “summer hit”. “You immediately notice how much heart there is in this song,” says another user. She “feels like this is going to be one of those songs that you’ll feel all summer.”
A few weeks ago, previous speculations about new music from Fischer came to an end. On May 8th, the pop star also announced the “beginning of a new era” on Instagram. “On May 29th the time has finally come. My new song 'Tonight' will be released. The first single from my upcoming album, which you can be very excited about…” She then wanted to sing the song with the fans on her upcoming stadium tour, explained Fischer.
The “360° Stadium Tour 2026” begins on June 10th in Dresden. Appearances are planned in major venues in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands. The last concert for now is scheduled for July 17th in Munich.
