Someone was probably traveling too fast!
During a speed check by the Euskirchen police, a strange speed camera photo was taken. Was an old woman with her walker actually going faster than 30 km/h? The solution is simple and should make a completely different person very happy.
Senior woman happens to be an extra in front of a speed camera backdrop
During a speed check, the police in North Rhine-Westphalia flashed a senior citizen with a walker. The speed camera was triggered because a box truck was traveling at 42 kilometers per hour in a 30 km/h zone in the Euskirchen district, as the police described on Instagram. “But exactly at the crucial moment, a senior citizen ran through the picture with her walker and inadvertently created a real cult photo.”
Speed control with unexpected “high-speed moment”
Both – pedestrian and driver – then continued on their way unimpressed. “The driver should actually thank the woman,” said a district police spokesman. The license plate of the car was covered by the walker, so the driver got away unscathed. (cko)
