Natascha Ochsenknecht has undergone a neck lift – and takes viewers along with her during the procedure in the Sky documentary “These Ochsenknechts”. The 61-year-old was accompanied by a camera team during her operation and afterwards. She speaks openly about her fears, her history and her desire for change.

In the final episode of the current season, Natascha Ochsenknecht decides Facelift with focus on the neck area. The treating doctor estimates around two to three hours for the procedure. As soon as she enters the beauty clinic in Berlin, it becomes clear how serious the decision is for her. “An operation is never easy. That's why I thought about it carefully.”she says, visibly tense.

Despite her routine in the spotlight, she appears emotional before the operation. The general anesthesia is particularly difficult for her. “When the anesthesia starts, I'll be nervous. And if something happens then, I'm just unlucky.”she says matter-of-factly. A sentence that shows how present Natascha's previous, often complicated operations – for example on the stomach – are still present for the 61-year-old.

Shortly before things get serious, the chief physician explains the risks to her again in detail and Natascha Ochsenknecht formulates her biggest concern: “I hope that I recognize myself. That would be the worst if I no longer recognize myself – then something has gone wrong.”

“Of course it’s all still swollen”
After the operation, she can be seen in the documentary series with a cooling mask and head bandage. She reports “a little bit of pressure from the association.” Otherwise she is doing well. When she first looks in the mirror, Natascha is initially shocked because of her swollen face and the still fresh traces of the procedure. But relief follows the very next day. During the follow-up check with the doctor, the scars and swelling are clearly visible, but the 61-year-old is confident: “Of course it's all still swollen, but it's all still going down.”
