The federal police's nationwide comparison exercise continues from 5 p.mthe first after-work party takes place in Rathausgasse, and the lucky tour makes a stop.
Chimney sweeps on a lucky trip: Hünfeld is the third stage destination
According to a press release from the city of Hünfeld, the lucky tour of the German chimney sweep trade, which runs almost 1000 kilometers through Germany, will stop in Hünfeld for the first time. With this bike tour, the chimney sweeps want to collect donations for children with cancer.
According to the Konrad-Zuse-Stadt, eight million euros have been raised in recent years. The chimney sweeps are starting their 21st tour this year in Braunschweig and traveling to Straubing. At the respective milestones, the donations collected are handed over directly to regional initiatives, affected families, associations and clinics.
The third stage on May 28th leads from Kassel to Hünfeld. The following day, the fourth stage continues from Hünfeld to Bad Neustadt. On May 28th, the after-work party and the final exercise of the nationwide competitions of the evidence preservation and arrest units of the Federal Police will take place in Hünfeld city center.

The chimney sweeps will first head to the Hünfeld Boniface Monastery on their bicycles from 5 p.m., where the tour participants also want to spend the night. The donation handover is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on the monastery terrace. The organizers expect around 50 participants on the tour.
