RTL met her father for an exclusive interviewNina H. (†29) is shot in front of her children – was it a contract killing?
“She was already expecting violence.”
On May 19, 2025, 29-year-old Nina H. was shot dead in her home in Augsburg-Haunstetten. Two of her three children witnessed the crime. Why did the young mother have to die? The process has been going on for some time – but suddenly it takes an unexpected turn. RTL/stern TV spoke exclusively with Nina's father Ralf H. – in the video.
Shortly before the crime, Nina H. ended her relationship with Christian S.
At the beginning of the trial for the murder of Nina H., only one person is accused: Gino F. He is the foster son of Nina's ex-partner Christian S. (43). But why would he kill his foster father's ex-partner?

In 2020, Nina H. met Chrisitan S., later the two got together and even had two children together. Nina had little contact with her father Ralf H. at that time, also because they lived far away from each other. Ralf H. only suspected that something might be wrong in his daughter's life after a visit from his daughter and grandchildren two years ago, as he explains in the interview. “I was a bit irritated because she looked very, very bad. She was very, very thin and had brutal eye rims.” Christian S., his daughter's partner, gave Ralf H. “a gut feeling.” “The gut feeling said it wouldn’t work at all.”
In fact, the relationship between Nina H. and Christian S. is said to have been characterized by jealousy and arguments. The two are said to have separated several times, but then got back together. But at the beginning of 2025, Nina will finally draw a line in the sand and separate from the 43-year-old. At the time, she had sent her father Ralf H. a message in which she informed him about the separation: “(…) I finally managed to separate from Christian, (…) After a few things happened that were absolutely unacceptable to me and we were afraid of him, it's now the best thing for everyone.”
Nina H. “already expected violence”
However, Christian S. is said to have set his foster son Gino F. on Nina H. after the separation. He is said to have observed the family from a bank. Gino F. is said to have even rented an apartment himself just a few meters from Nina H's apartment. Christian S. suspected that Nina H. already had a new partner.
Ralf H. says in the interview that his daughter kept a diary in which she also documented unwanted visits from Christian S. She also found out about self-defense courses and alarm buttons and told her neighbors and asked them to call the police if it got loud at night. “She was already expecting violence,” Ralf H. is certain today.
But despite all caution, the perpetrator managed to break into Nina H's home on May 19, 2025 and shoot her in front of two of her children. The current murder trial is about these central questions: Did Gino F. commit the crime? Was it a contract killing? Or is even Christian S. the perpetrator? You can find out the current status of the investigation in the video above.

“In hindsight, I really regret that I didn’t set off straight away”
Ralf H. actually wanted to visit his daughter in August 2025. But this visit was never to happen again. Today Ralf H. says: “I think she had hoped that we would come earlier. And in retrospect, of course, I really regret that I didn't set off straight away. I thought August would be enough. I mean, you can't expect something like that to happen. I think about that a lot.”
