Two robberies were committed in Fulda within a few days. The police are now looking for witnesses and have published descriptions of the perpetrators.

Fulda – Using a telescopic baton and fists, two masked perpetrators attacked and robbed a 14-year-old. On Thursday, April 30th, around 11 p.m., according to the East Hesse Police Headquarters, the perpetrators approached a group of people who were sitting on the stairs from Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz to the castle garden.

They suddenly hit the teenager, pulled him to the ground and stole his black Nike shoulder bag. Inside was a Xiaomi brand power bank and ten euros in cash. The 14-year-old was slightly injured in the attack. The perpetrators then fled on foot towards Kurfürstenstrasse.

Police are looking for witnesses after two robberies in Fulda

Police describe the two perpetrators as male and around 16 years old. Perpetrator one is said to have a southern appearance, be around 1.80 meters tall, have a black parted hairstyle, a goatee and mustache and be of strong build. He was wearing a dark blue jacket, black jeans, white Nike sneakers and a black balaclava.

Perpetrator two is said to be around 1.70 meters tall and was wearing a black jacket with a hood and a light emblem on the chest, black jeans with a brown belt, white Nike sneakers and a white and black storm mask.

Another attack two days later

Just two days later there was another robbery in downtown Fulda. On Saturday, May 2nd, around 9:10 p.m., two unknown men ambushed a 24-year-old on Königsstrasse and pursued him towards Uniplatz. There they suddenly sprayed an irritating substance in his face, causing him to drop his bag.

The perpetrators took the bag with cigarettes and fled across Bahnhofstrasse towards the train station. The stolen goods are valued at around 160 euros. Both perpetrators are described as male, around 180 cm tall and of slim build; one of them wore a dark coat.

It is unclear whether the two acts are related and is part of the criminal investigation, according to the East Hesse police headquarters. Witnesses can contact the East Hesse police headquarters on 0661/105-0, any other police station or via the online watchdog at www.polizei.hessen.de.

The police in East Hesse recently launched a call for witnesses after two expensive bicycles were stolen from a carport in Dirlos.
